Mutual Trading Japanese Food & Restaurant Expo

On September 26, the Japanese Food & Restaurant Expo, hosted by Mutual Trading, was held at the Pasadena Convention Center.

The expo showcases Japanese food products, sake, tableware, and cooking utensils to U.S. food service professionals. It is one of the largest trade shows in the country specializing in Japanese food and restaurant supplies.

Now in its 35th year, the expo’s theme is “Onko Takushin,” reflecting the spirit of “Turning a Century of Wisdom into the Strength to Move Forward.”

At the expo, 135 companies showcased their flagship and new products, while also presenting ideas for new menu items.
More than 1,500 invited guests spoke with exhibitors to learn more about their products and discuss potential business opportunities.

Founded in Little Tokyo in 1926, Mutual Trading celebrates its 100th anniversary this year.
