{"id":20887,"date":"2024-06-02T20:00:02","date_gmt":"2024-06-03T03:00:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jhollywoodnet.com\/?post_type=socaljapan&#038;p=20887"},"modified":"2024-06-02T11:35:32","modified_gmt":"2024-06-02T18:35:32","slug":"2024-06-02","status":"publish","type":"socaljapan","link":"https:\/\/jhollywoodnet.com\/en\/socaljapan\/2024-06-02\/","title":{"rendered":"June 2nd 2024 O.A."},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p><\/p>\n<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">June 2nd 2024 O.A.<\/h2>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<div class=\"youtube\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/zg3iDz0Lyho\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h2>OC Japan Fair &#8220;Nakamise Street&#8221;<\/h2>\n<p>\u201cOC Japan Fair\u201d happened for 3 days at Costa Mesa from April 19th through 21st.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOC Japan Fair\u201d is a festival that began in 2009 introducing Japanese culture, food, and entertainment.<br \/>\nIt is an event that happens every fall, but this year, it also took place in spring entitled \u201cOC Japan Fair Cherry Blossom.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Long lines formed for the entire day at the entrance.<br \/>\nVarious booths lined up and guests were able to enjoy Japanese culture through shopping and eating Japanese food.<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s highlight was \u201cNakamise Street\u201d which connected the venue and main area.<br \/>\nIt was designed in the image of Asakusa&#8217;s Nakamise Shopping Street produced by the non-profit organization, KIMONO CON that introduces Japanese culture and kimono.<\/p>\n<p>There were 4 kimono stalls at Nakamise Street, and guests were able to look for a kimono that they liked.<\/p>\n<p>Tea ceremony demonstration, ikebana flower arrangement workshop, and booths introducing traditional Japanese cultures were also available.<br \/>\nApparels inspired by Japanese culture and food booths offering original products that incorporate Japanese essence such as rice cake sweets, tea, and miso were also available.<\/p>\n<p>Many guests enjoyed the martial arts demonstration and kimono show that was performed on stage.<br \/>\nOC Japan Fair will be held again in October.<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h2>&#8220;TORISOBA TONSHO&#8217; Grand Open<\/h2>\n<p>\u201cTORISOBA TONSHO,\u201d a ramen restaurant specializing in chicken ramen, had its grand opening in West Hollywood.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTORISOBA TONSHO\u201d is a new location of the Shin-Sen-Gumi Restaurant Group known for serving tonkotsu ramen in Hakata style, and yakitori.<\/p>\n<p>The characteristic of &#8220;TORISOBA TONSHO&#8221; is a ramen soup called &#8220;foam style\u201d.<br \/>\nThe soup is stirred in a blender to emulsify the water and fat, creating a soup that is rich in flavor, yet creamy and smooth.
