This year\u2019s Grand marshal is Japanese American pioneer, Akemi Miyake.<br \/>\nParade marshall is the LA Clippers.&#8221;\t<\/p>\n<p>Choreography is done by Sanjoryu in honor of Kangiku Sanjo, who passed this Spring.<\/p>\n<p>After Konko Church of LA conducted the purification ceremony, this year\u2019s 7 queen candidates were announced.\t<\/p>\n<p>August 10th is the Tanabata Festival.<br \/>\n11th is the main event, the grand parade.<br \/>\n17th is the Daily Foods Gyoza eating contest and the 19th will be the closing ceremony.<br \/>\nYou can find more information about the Nisei Week on their website.<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h2>\u201dThe Premium Malt\u2019s\u201d Tasting Event<\/h2>\n<p>July 23rd was the tasting event of Suntory Beer\u2019s \u201cThe Premium Malt\u201d at Miyako Hybrid Hotel in Torrance.<\/p>\n<p>Restaurant individuals were invited as the event promotes \u201cThe Premium Malt\u201d being available in SoCal starting this May for the food industry.<\/p>\n<p>The event introduced how to serve tasty beer as they only offered barreled draft beer using a dispenser instead of beers in bottles or cans.<\/p>\n<p>In order to serve tasty beers, there are 3 rules:<br \/>\n\u201cClean the dispenser everyday.\u201d \u201cKeep the barrel stable at a low temperature.\u201d<br \/>\n\u201cManage the gas pressure inside the barrel.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In addition, there are 2 things you must be particular about.<br \/>\nThat is to \u201cUse a glass that is naturally dried and pour the beer in the correct procedure.\u201d<br \/>\nA draft master from Japan did a demonstration.\t<\/p>\n<p>Suntory has a factory where they can draw the purest spring water for \u201cThe Premium Malt\u201d since 90% of beer is water.<br \/>\nTherefore, on-site production is not possible and they are carefully imported to preserve the quality as much as possible.<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] July 28th 2019 O.A.
