Fukui’s BEST PREMIER Produce Collection

Curated selection of food from Fukui prefecture, “Fukui’s BEST PREMIER Produce Collection” is happening at Nijiya Market in Torrance.

This event promotes Fukui prefecture’s processed food overseas and was also held in France and England.

The event is operated with the help of the Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Fukui Prefectural Government. February 1st was the first day, and food companies as well as government officials from Fukui prefecture paid a visit.

9 foods will be test-marketed in-store. Wide range of foods are selected, from foods that are loved in Fukui for generations like soba and snacks to soy sauce and miso that follow a traditional recipe.
Unique foods like frozen sushi using an original technology as well as gluten free noodles are also available, and food companies also promoted their products.

Fukui’s BEST PREMIER Produce Collection will be held in Nijiya Market Torrance store until February 14th.
