Episode 2

Invited by Kozo Sanno (Koichi Sato), Eiji Kurisu (Satoshi Tsumabuki) joins Royal Human and is appointed as the exclusive secretary for the company’s Horse Racing Division. Among his many duties is managing the delicate relationship with Kozo’s wife, Kyoko (Hitomi Kuroki), who openly despises horse racing.

One day, Kozo’s son Yutaro (Kotaro Koizumi) challenges his father, declaring that unless the division wins at least one race in the Central Horse Racing circuit by the end of the year, it should be shut down. Kozo accepts the ultimatum and determines to secure a victory with his prized horse Royal Fight, takes Kurisu to the Miho Training Center. However, Kozo’s overbearing attitude offends trainer Tadokoro, leading to a falling-out. Kurisu is then tasked with finding a new trainer immediately.

During this struggle, Kurisu reunites in Tokyo with his former girlfriend Kanako (Wakana Matsumoto), who tells him about a talented trainer named Hironaka (Masanobu Ando). Intrigued, Kurisu decides to visit Hironaka’s stable―but what awaits him there will change everything.
