Chief Director Kajiwara (Reo Tamaoki) obtains information about a cover-up of an assault by a police officer. Chief Takeno (Tamaki Ogawa) of the Akasaka Minami Police Station, who is an old acquaintance of Kajiwara, offers to blow the whistle. Shindo (Hiroshi Abe) and his team go to interview Takeno, but she fails to show up at the appointed time. On the contrary, Takeno holds an emergency press conference denying the assault itself.

Kajiwara believes that Erika (Akiko Kikuchi) of the Social Affairs Department may have leaked the information to upper police management and put pressure on Takeno. He investigates the truth behind the assault on his own, but it evolves into a huge problem involving the police and JBN as a whole.

Amidst that, Shindo offers himself as an honorary chief of the Akasaka Minami Police Station for a day. What is he plotting…?
