While the staff is in a panic, Shindo heads with a rookie assistant director, Yusuke Motohashi (Shunsuke Michieda), to confront Hanyu in person, pressing him about the cancellation and its connection to a bribery scandal. This bribery scandal is a scoop Shindo has been secretly investigating. In an unexpected turn of events, News Gate begins its live broadcast without its main anchor…!
