Soichi Shindo (Hiroshi Abe), a man who believes “Truth moves the world,” spent 15 years as a reporter in a public broadcasting news channel. Recruited by the president (Hideki Takahashi) of the commercial TV station JBN, Shindo is appointed as the main anchor for News Gate, a program struggling with low ratings. 

To “deliver the truth,” he disregards traditional rules and uses any means necessary in his investigations.

Under his leadership, the disjointed news team slowly becomes united. But when they finally achieve their true ideal, the truth behind a long-buried incident comes to light!
