Seigou Saeki （Seiyō Uchino）, director of the Tojo University Hospital, is planning to open a new hospital specializing in cardiac surgery. His goal is to be the president of the Japan Medical Association.

Cardiovascular surgeon, Masashi Sera （Ryoma Takeuchi）, is entrusted a letter from Saeki to give to Dr. Yukihiko Amagi, a doctor attending a conference in Australia and currently works at a heart center on the Gold Coast.

Sera, along with his senior, Dr.Yuji Kakitani （Haruka Ucimura）, heads to Australia, only to find a boy unconscious at the Gold Coast beach shore. As Kakitani anxiously performs first-aid on the boy, a mysterious man appears that give life-saving advice.

After the incident, Sera and Kakitani attend the conference, but is unable to meet Amagi… The two disappointed doctors meet Park So-hyun （Choi Ji-woo） and his son Min-jae (Kim Mu-Jun), who also came to Australia to find Amagi.

Eventually, Sera, Kakitani and Min-jae hear that the elusive doctor at the racetracks, but comes face to face with a mysterious man that looks identical to Seishiro Tokai, who had left Tojo Uni 6 years ago. It turns out he is the Diable (devil) of the medical world, Dr. Yukihiko Amagi （Kazunari Ninomiya）, a genius surgeon that toys with both life and money.
