After escaping from prison to prove his innocence regarding the Ryujin Bridge construction collapse, Riku Kariyama (Takuya Kimura) has been hiding at Yutaka Handa’s (Tetsushi Tanaka) home. However, Detective Masaoki Kuroki (Ryuma Takeuchi) has finally tracked Kariyama down to the hideout. Kariyama shows himself willingly to Kuroki, explaining he had threatened Handa to hide him in order to cover for the man.

Meanwhile, on behalf of Teiwa Construction President Noritaka Isoda (Fumiyo Kohinata), lawyer Yoshihito Akizawa (Takumi Saito) had also been tracking down Kariyama.
