Wanting to cheer Kirisawa up is Seiichiro Kai (Ken Yasuda), his friend who trained alongside Kirisawa in the same boxing club during high school. Greatly worried about Kirisawa’s future, Kai talks with Kenzo Ashiya (Emoto Akira), the former boxing director for Matsubadai Highschool, where they come from. Kirisawa is asked to take over Ashiya’s position. After having his mentor grovel on the floor, Kirisawa is unable to refuse and becomes not a director but rather a “temporary coach”. Thus, he returns to his old high school, but…

Matsubadai Highschool has evolved to become a prestigious school that has students who enter into Tokyo University. After Ashiya had quite being a director, the boxing club had become obviously weaker. On top of that, the principal, Makoto Ooba (Yuki Uchida) is trying to shut down the club, claiming they don’t have enough members to qualify as one! He also meets Aoi Orihara (Hikari Mitsushima) who was suddenly assigned to be the club advisor and has no passion or knowledge about boxing…

The members of the boxing club each have their own desires as they interact with a new coach and new advisor who aren’t passionate at all. That’s when the club president, Kaito Iba (Kaito Takahashi) finds out Kirisawa used to be a boxing champion and challenges him to a public sparring…!
