Ryohei Suzuki stars in a never-before-seen dual role in this extreme family suspense drama.

The first protagonist, Riku Hayase, is a gentle, kind-hearted pastry chef who runs a small cake shop with his wife, son, and mother. But two and a half years ago, his wife suddenly disappeared. When detectives later appear with news that her body has been found, the story takes a shocking turn. Before he can even grieve, Riku is framed with fabricated evidence and arrested as the prime suspect in her murder.

The other protagonist is Ayumi Gido, a detective in the Metropolitan Police Department’s First Investigative Division. Connected to criminal organizations in the underworld, Gido is a corrupt cop who will stop at nothing—including illegal methods—to secure an arrest.

With false evidence piling up and a guilty verdict all but certain, Riku makes a life-altering decision. He abandons his family and his past, takes on Gido’s face, and “REBOOTs” himself—determined to hunt down the real killer of his wife and prove his own innocence.

Thus is born a dark hero who defies fate, driven solely by love for the people he holds dear.
