Aoi (Machiko Ono) and Lion (Tasuku Sato) is taken from the inn. Hearing from Hiroto (Yuya Yagira) that the two are gone, Yurugi (Amane Okayama) waits for Aoi at the ferry dock in Niigata, but the only person that shows up is Kabashima (Takenori Goto), a known associate of Shogo (Osamu Mukai).

Michito (Ryota Bando) is confused at why Lion would leave without a word and Hiroto tries to think how to persuade his brother to leave the inn right away.

Finding the stuffed animal Lion has left behind, he suggests taking the animal to Lion. The two leave Sado Island and head to Tachibana’s home to save Aoi and Lion, only to be unable to find them.

With nowhere else they look for, Hiroto and Michito return to their own home. The brothers are reluctant at the thought of their lives returning to how it was before.

Meanwhile, the resolute Aoi meets with Shogo.
