To oppose Saeki (Seiyō Uchino), Vice President Ejiri (Maki Ohguro) allies with Sakuramiya City’s Medical Association President Shingyoji (Koji Ishizaka) and becomes a candidate for the Tojo University’s Hospital Director election. Shingyoji is Saeki’s mentor, however the two parted ways after an incident 5 years ago.

Amagi (Kazunari Ninomiya) had been secretly looking into the incident from 5 years ago. His aim was to unravel the hidden fact connected to Amagi and his family.

Tomizawa (Akira Fukuzawa) from the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare visits Amagi. Tomizawa says it’s wrong to authorize the new hospital Cerisier Heart Center when the chief doctor is one that demands an exorbitant price to their patients. Hearing that, Amagi quickly resigns his position.

Amagi visits the nap room that Seishirou Tokai (Kazunaru Ninomiya/double role) used to live in. There, he finds a single photo from Tokai’s surgery notes and belongings left in the room. At the same time, Saeki receives contact from Tokai…

The next day, both Amagi and Saeki disappear.

Amagi receives a mail labeled ‘urgent’ which Sera (Ryoma Takeuchi) and Min-jae (Kim Mu-Jun) open instead. Inside is an echocardiogram and contrast CT. The patient’s name isn’t written by there are signs they received a bypass surgery and requires an urgent operation.

Who is the patient? How is Amagi and Tokai connected? What happened 5 years ago…?
