Saeki (Seiyō Uchino) performs an emergency operation on Chairman Uesugi Toshikazu (Masaaki Sakai) of Uesugi Motors while Amagi (Kazunari Ninomiya) is absent. However, he stops the operation mid-way without performing the Saeki method. Instead, President Uesugi’s life is saved by drug therapy, however Head Nurse Fujiwara（Misuzu Kanno） is worried about Saeki’s odd behavior.

Afterwards, Chairman Uesugi’s son and president of Uesugi Motors, Toshihiro (Yu Shirota) comes Tojo University. Toshihiro pleads Amagi to fail Chairman Uesugi’s surgery for a large sum. The father and son are arguing about how to run the business and Toshihiro wishes for his father to retire. Behind this scheme is Ishin University’s Sugai (Yasunori Danta) who is plotting something using Uesugi Motor’s medical division.

Meanwhile Saeki has a work dinner with Vice President Ejiri (Maki Ohguro) and Clinical Trial Coordinator Misaki (Minami Tanaka). Ejiri is looking into remote medical care research using Medical AI Elcano with a professor from Ishin Uni which Saeki supports wholeheartedly.
