Riku Kariyama (Takuya Kimura) escapes prison to take back the crucial evidence that proves his innocence even though he is pursued by Detective Masaoki Kuroki (Ryuma Takeuchi). Daiki Nagumo (Hayate Ichinose), Kariyama’s subordinate, decides to give Kariyama the evidence, but falls off the stairs when he is stopped by Kariyama’s lawyer, Yoshihito Aizawa (Takumi Saito)! Kariyama sees the news of Daiki being heavily injured and finally gives up. As he promised to his wife, Reiko (Yuuki Amami), he goes to turn himself in to the police…

Kariyama’s consciousness fades due to the injury he received when escaping. He is taken by Yutaka Handa (Tetsushi Tanaka) all the way to his home in Shizuoka Prefecture. There, he tells Kariyama he has a favor to ask of him…!?

Meanwhile, Teiwa Construction has managed to scrape through by placing the full blame of the Ryujin Bridge accident on Kariyama and is now planning to maintain that silence. President Noritaka Isoda (Fumiyo Kohinata) and other executives orders Akizawa to find Kariyama’s whereabouts before the police. However, he begins acting suspiciously instead. Kuroki, on the other hand, pursues Kariyama with ghastly determination. Then… an emergency situation arises! Reiko, worried about her husband, is faced with an unprecedented crisis…!
