Meanwhile, Nagumo and Aozora (Tenta Banka) visit Mika (Haruka Igawa) at her workplace in Tokyo. The Nagumo family are excited for the reunion, but Mika’s ex-husband Haruya (Kouji Ookura) has shown up. Over at the baseball club, Nagumo’s successor coach was unable to recruit any new players. Inuzuka (Fumiyo Kohinata) fires them and Yamazumi (Haru Kuroki) volunteers herself as the new coach. Incoming is the summer preliminaries, the first opponent is Isuzu High School, one of last year’s top 8 schools! As they prepare for their first match, the members focus but the Isuzu High School Baseball Team shares a rumor about Yamazumi from back when she was in Yokohama. The members strive to win at least one match during summer for Yamazumi, who they trust, and Nagumo, to bring him back to the baseball club.
