“I don’t want to be with you anymore, Chikara.” With those words, Akari (Aya Ueto) left for her parent’s home while Chikara Nakagoshi (Jun Matsumoto) could only watch in shock. He had thought that despite all the problems with his neighbors, there was nothing wrong inside his own home. Thus, Chikara has no idea why Akari left him.
Pressed by his children asking what’s going to happen now, Chikara is at a complete loss. Plus, it’s just his luck that problems spring up one after another at the apartment! But, too overwhelmed with his own problems, Chikara has no time to care for his neighbor’s problems. In response, his neighbors begin to treat Chikara a little coldly.
